General Terms and Conditions

Terms for orders, payments, deliveries, cancellations, and customer service in the MO BLUMEN online shop in Vienna.

Summary

These Terms and Conditions govern orders placed through the MO BLUMEN online shop as well as purchases made directly in our Vienna shop. Among other things, they explain prices, delivery fees, payment methods, delivery, cancellations, product variations in fresh flowers, and how customer inquiries are handled.

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through our online shop www.moblumen.com as well as for purchases made directly in our shop at Wallensteinstraße 27, 1200 Vienna.

By placing your order, you agree to these terms and conditions. Any differing terms shall apply only if they have been expressly confirmed in writing by MO BLUMEN.

3. Prices and Delivery Fees

All prices are stated in euros (€) and include statutory VAT where applicable or where shown.

Flowers are natural products. Prices and availability may vary depending on the season, market conditions, and product type. The price shown for your order applies at the time the order is completed.

4. Payment Methods

Depending on availability, different payment methods may be offered in the online shop. These may include in particular:

  • Credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay.
  • Klarna.
  • EPS.
  • Cash payment on collection, where available.

For online orders, payment is usually made immediately during the ordering process. Full credit card details are not stored on MO BLUMEN's own servers.

5. Order Process and Contract Conclusion

After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation by email. This usually includes:

  • Your order number.
  • The products you ordered.
  • The total price, including the delivery fee.
  • The selected delivery date and delivery address.
  • The message or greeting card you provided, if applicable.

If you do not receive a confirmation, please also check your spam folder. If you are unsure about anything, you can contact us by email, phone, or WhatsApp.

If you would like to save products or view them again later, shop features such as the Wishlist can be helpful.

6. Delivery in Vienna

MO BLUMEN delivers to all 23 districts of Vienna, provided delivery can be selected in the online shop and no special restrictions apply.

Same-Day Delivery

For orders placed by 12:00, same-day delivery is possible, provided the requested item is available and delivery can be arranged operationally.

Delivery Times

  • Monday to Saturday: 09:00 to 19:00.
  • Sunday and public holidays: no regular delivery unless expressly stated otherwise.

Specific delivery times cannot always be guaranteed, especially during high order volumes, traffic, incorrect address details, or unforeseen events.

7. Delivery Address and Acceptance of Delivery

Please make sure the delivery address is complete and correct. This includes, in particular, the name, street, house number, door number, postal code, district, phone number, and, if applicable, delivery instructions.

  • Hospital: please provide the ward, room number, and the recipient’s full name.
  • Hotel: please provide the hotel name, room number, and guest name.
  • Company: please provide the company name, department, and contact person.
  • Residential building: please provide the door number, name on the doorbell, and, if applicable, the entry code.

If the recipient cannot be reached, the delivery may, where possible, be left with a suitable person such as a neighbor, reception, or front desk. We may also try to contact the recipient by phone.

Incorrect, incomplete, or unreachable delivery details may cause delays. In such cases, MO BLUMEN cannot accept responsibility for late delivery.

8. Flowers and Products

Flowers, plants, and floral arrangements are natural products. Color, size, stage of bloom, and exact composition may vary slightly from the product image depending on the season and availability.

Our florists take great care to preserve the style, color effect, and overall character of the selected product as closely as possible. If individual flowers are unavailable, they may be replaced with equivalent flowers.

9. Quality and Complaints

MO BLUMEN values fresh flowers, careful craftsmanship, and tasteful floral design. Every bouquet is freshly made and hand-tied.

If there is still a problem with your order, please contact us as quickly as possible, ideally within 72 hours of delivery. If possible, please include photos and your order number so we can review the matter.

10. Cancellation and Changes

You may cancel or change your order free of charge up to 24 hours before the delivery date, provided the order has not yet been prepared, arranged, or specially sourced.

After that, changes are only possible upon prior consultation. This depends in particular on whether the flowers have already been prepared or whether special customer requests have already been carried out.

Cancellations and changes can be sent by email to info@moblumen.com or requested via WhatsApp.

11. Cancellation / Withdrawal for Online Orders

For consumers, statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights may apply to online orders. In Austria, the Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act often uses the term withdrawal; in general usage, the term cancellation is also used.

Important: For fresh flowers, perishable goods, and arrangements custom-made to the customer’s specifications, a statutory right of withdrawal may be excluded where the legal requirements are met.

For non-perishable goods or products that are not custom-made, the statutory provisions apply. Details on the specific process can be found in our Returns and Exchange Policy.

12. Special Occasions and High-Demand Days

On particularly busy days such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas, or around other holidays, special conditions may apply.

  • Earlier order deadlines for same-day delivery.
  • Higher demand for certain flowers and colors.
  • Limited product availability.
  • Adjusted delivery planning for companies, hotels, or large orders.

We recommend placing your order as early as possible for important occasions.

13. Data Protection

Personal data is treated confidentially and processed only to the extent necessary. This applies in particular to data relating to orders, delivery, payment, and customer communication.

14. Liability

MO BLUMEN is liable in accordance with the applicable legal provisions. Liability for delays or problems may in particular be limited if they are caused by circumstances beyond our control.

  • Incomplete or incorrect delivery address.
  • The recipient cannot be reached.
  • Refusal to accept the delivery.
  • Force majeure or unforeseeable events.
  • Severe traffic or weather disruptions.

15. Applicable Law

Austrian law applies. To the extent permitted by law, the place of jurisdiction is Vienna.

Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

The contract is concluded as part of the ordering process once the order has been completed and confirmed by MO BLUMEN.
