The Mix Begonia brings two worlds together in one pot — bright little flowers and decorative leaves. In the photo, light yellow, pink, orange and red blooms each carry a small yellow centre. Among them you see the striking foliage: silvery green with a dark green border, some leaves copper-red to bronze in tone — typical of the foliage Begonia family.
The plant looks like a small garden in a pot. The varied leaf colours give depth, while the flowers add lively accents.
Begonias like a bright spot away from direct midday sun and a steady room temperature. With watering, the rule is: rather a little less than too much. We let the upper layer of soil dry out between waterings. We pour off any standing water from the decorative pot.
The Begonia does not particularly enjoy dry, heated air. A little humidity does it good — occasional misting of the leaves (not the flowers) helps.
The plant is delivered in a cream-coloured, slightly textured stoneware pot, as shown in the photo. The decorative pot may differ slightly from the photo.
