In the photo you see a true chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) in a pot — not an ornamental, but a real meadow chamomile with its typical appearance. The small white flowers with their bright yellow centre buttons grow loosely above fine, almost feathery green leaves.
The plant feels natural and fresh — like a piece of meadow on the windowsill.
Chamomile likes light, ideally with sun. With watering, we keep the soil evenly slightly moist without it standing in water. In summer it needs water regularly, since it loses a lot through its leaves.
The flowers can also be harvested and dried — for a classic chamomile tea from your own plant. Cut off the open flower heads and let them dry in an airy, shaded spot.
The plant is delivered in an inner terracotta pot with a cream-white ceramic decorative pot, as shown in the photo. The decorative pot may differ slightly from the photo.
