The Dragon Tree (Dracaena marginata) is one of the most uncomplicated companions for the home. In the photo you see several plants beside one another with the typical form: narrow, long leaves sitting in a dense crown at the top of the woody, slightly segmented trunk. Some leaves are clear green, others show a reddish-brown edge, which gives them their distinctive look.
The trunks are slim and carry the crowns in an almost sculptural arrangement — that gives the Dragon Tree its characteristic silhouette.
The Dragon Tree likes light, ideally with some sun, but copes with less light too. With watering, it is relaxed — we let the upper layer of soil dry out well between waterings, even more sparingly in winter. It does not like waterlogging at all.
It tolerates dry, heated air well. If lower leaves yellow over time and fall off, that is normal — new leaves grow at the top.
The Dragon Tree is delivered in a simple beige ceramic decorative pot, as shown in the picture. The decorative pot may differ slightly from the photo.
