The Golden Pothos (Epipremnum aureum) is one of the most rewarding and uncomplicated house plants we know. In the photo you see a full, bushy plant with heart-shaped leaves in vivid green, marbled with golden-yellow markings. Several shoots already trail loosely over the rim of the pot and begin to vine — ideal for a hanging shelf or an elevated spot in the living room.
The Pothos is very modest in its needs. It likes a bright spot away from harsh midday sun but copes well in partial shade too. With watering, we let the upper layer of soil dry out between waterings — the plant easily forgives a missed watering. We avoid standing water in the decorative pot.
You can shorten the shoots if they grow too long — the plant grows back well. New plants easily grow from cuttings placed in a glass of water.
The plant is delivered in a simple beige terracotta pot, as shown in the picture. The decorative pot may differ slightly from the photo.
