A summery bouquet built around the sunflower (Helianthus annuus). In the photo you see several fully opened sunflowers with their large, dark brown centres and clear yellow petals — the focal point of the whole bouquet.
Around them stand yellow spray chrysanthemums, yellow Craspedia balls (drumsticks) on long stems, and fine yellow Solidago sprays that give the bouquet a sense of airiness. Light green Alstroemeria brings soft, neutral accents, joined by a few dark red Leucadendron shoots stepping forward as a contrast in deep burgundy.
The whole is presented in a gold-coloured glass vase. The vase in the photo belongs to the presentation and can be added on request.
Sunflowers are summer classics — the season usually runs from July to October.
