The Flaming Katy (Kalanchoe blossfeldiana) is a small, very rewarding flowering plant. In the photo you see a compact plant in full bloom — with dense flower clusters in many colours: red, orange, yellow, light pink and vivid pink. Each flower is small, full and sits in dense clusters above the fleshy, dark green leaves.
The plant is low and bushy, a multi-colour mix in a single pot — a cheerful, lively appearance.
Kalanchoe is a succulent and accordingly modest. It likes a bright spot, ideally with a little sun. With watering, you can be sparing — the soil should dry out well between waterings. It does not like standing water in the decorative pot.
You can carefully remove faded flower stems regularly — that keeps the plant fresh and often encourages a second flowering.
The plant is delivered in a simple grey ceramic decorative pot, as shown in the photo. The decorative pot may differ slightly from the photo.
