The Anthurium (Anthurium andraeanum) — also known as the flamingo flower — comes in several colours, and that is exactly what defines the mix variant. Which colour you receive depends on what we currently have in stock. In the photo you see a plant with three deep red bracts in the typical heart shape, each with an upright yellow spadix in the centre. The leaves are dark green, heart-shaped and glossy.
Anthuriums flower for a long time. With a bright spot away from direct midday sun and an even room temperature, they keep coming back. Watering once a week is usually enough, slightly less in winter. They do not like standing water in the decorative pot.
A little humidity does them good, especially in heated rooms. You can mist the leaves now and then, but it is better to keep the flowers themselves dry.
For the mix variant, we choose the colour according to current availability. If you have a particular colour in mind, just let us know — we will check what is possible. The plant is delivered in a simple decorative pot as shown in the picture. The decorative pot may differ slightly from the photo.
