A rustic basket of woven willow, planted with yellow daffodils (Narcissus), pink double tulips and blue grape hyacinths (Muscari). Among them lie green moss, a small white ceramic bunny and a few speckled pastel eggs — a small spring scene that recalls Easter.
The daffodils stretch their trumpet blooms highest, the tulips come in at the centre, and the grape hyacinths form the blue accent between them. A few white feathers lie at the edge. Everything feels naturally grown, not strictly arranged.
This planting is a herald of spring. Place the basket in a bright spot but not in direct midday sun, and water sparingly — the moss may stay slightly damp, but the bulb plants do not like waterlogging. When the blooms have faded, the bulbs can be planted on in the garden.
