The Sansevieria, also called Mother-in-law's Tongue (Sansevieria trifasciata), with its upright, sword-shaped leaves. The leaves are dark green with light green cross markings and a soft yellow stripe along the edge. The whole plant feels upright, clearly structured and undemanding.
In the picture, the Sansevieria stands in a simple cream-coloured stoneware pot on a wooden table — a fitting look for many home styles.
The Sansevieria is one of the most low-maintenance house plants there is. It forgives you if you forget to water it for a few weeks. In summer, a little water every one to two weeks is enough; in winter even less often — better kept too dry than too wet. It does well in a bright spot but also survives darker corners.
The decorative pot may differ slightly from the photo, depending on what we currently have in stock. If you would like a particular colour or style, let us know — we will try to take that into account.
We at MO BLUMEN bring the Sansevieria fresh from our atelier in Vienna to you. more houseplants
