A Yucca elephantipes — also known as the spineless or soft Yucca, because its leaves are less pointed than those of other Yucca varieties. In the picture you see a plant with three trunks of different heights, each carrying a dense crown of narrow, sword-shaped green leaves at the top.
The plant stands in a dark grey concrete decorative pot, with a layer of light grey pebbles on the soil — that is not only decorative but also helps to reduce evaporation.
The spineless Yucca is the most beginner-friendly Yucca variant. It tolerates direct sun as well as brighter spots without midday sun. Water sparingly — only when the soil has clearly dried out at the top. Waterlogging is the most common reason Yuccas decline indoors.
With its architectural form it suits modern interiors well — it feels like a small sculpture and needs no further staging.
The decorative pot may differ slightly from the photo, depending on what we currently have in stock. We at MO BLUMEN bring the Yucca fresh from our atelier in Vienna to you. our indoor plants
