A dense, round bouquet of white peonies (Paeonia) — photographed from above so that the fully opened blooms can be seen in all their lushness. The many petals lie densely above one another; every flower head is large and round, almost like a small ball of delicate layers.
The white is not strictly icy white but has a slightly creamy, almost ivory tone. The blooms are all roughly equally open, so the bouquet has a calm, uniform presence.
Peonies are one of the most seasonal flowers there is. They bloom with us only from mid-May to mid-June. During this period they are one of the most popular cut flowers — afterwards there is a whole year without them fresh.
If you would prefer the bouquet in a different colour — perhaps pink or magenta — let us know, that is possible during the season. A mix with other flowers is also conceivable.
