A Yucca palm (Yucca elephantipes) with two trunks of different heights — the larger trunk carries a dense crown of narrow, sword-shaped green leaves at the top, while the smaller trunk carries a second crown lower down. This staggered growth gives the plant its characteristic silhouette.
In the picture, the Yucca stands in a light cream-grey stoneware pot on a wooden table — a restrained combination that suits many home styles.
The Yucca palm is a very low-maintenance plant. It likes bright spots and tolerates direct sun well too. Water when the soil has clearly dried out at the top — better kept too dry than too wet, since the roots do not appreciate waterlogging. In winter you can almost completely pause watering.
This plant grows slowly but holds its form and size for years. With minimal care it remains a reliable green companion for a long time.
The decorative pot may differ slightly from the photo, depending on what we currently have in stock. We at MO BLUMEN bring the Yucca fresh from our atelier in Vienna to you. more houseplants
